2 Scholarships for Masters of Educational Technology at the University of Cape Town for 2015

 The Department of Open and Distance Learning (Makerere University) in collaboration with the University of Agder is implementing a Project titled "Leapfrogging 1st Generation Distance Education into 4th and 5th Generation Distance Education: A Strategy for Enhancing ICT Pedagogical Integration and Increasing Access to Education in Africa". For short it is titled "Distance Education Leapfrogging Project (DELP)".  DELP is mainly funded by the Norwegian Agency for International Development (NORAD) under its Programme codenamed The Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education and Research for Development (NORHED). Co-funding of the DELP Project is provided by Makerere University and the University of Agder.

Under this Project, there is funding for two staff from Makerere University to pursue a Masters Programme in Educational Technology at the University of Cape Town, South Africa.


The persons to receive the scholarships must be admissible at the University of Cape Town. As such, eligible candidates for the scholarship will be those already admitted at the University of Cape Town for the Masters in Educational Technology Programme or Masters in Education (ICT).


Those interested in these Scholarships should therefore do the following:

  1. Apply to the University of Cape Town for Admission to the Master in Educational Technology or Masters in Education (ICT) through their website
